Marga Schulze Merit Scholarships for Blind Girls

AICB has been implementing the Scheme of Merit Scholarships since 2000-2001 and has, so far, granted 1287 merit scholarships of Rs. 1,48,00,000/- approximately for educational empowerment of visually impaired girls in the country. Under this Scheme, merit scholarships are awarded for undergraduate, Post graduate and B.Ed. courses. The monthly rate of scholarships is Rs. 1000/- for undergraduates, Rs.1500/- for post graduates and Rs. 1250/- for B.Ed. courses.

During the current year (2016-2017), applications are invited from V.I. girl-students studying in B.A. 2nd year, 3rd year, B.Ed. and Master’s Degree courses. This year due to shortage of funds, the Confederation shall not be in a position to entertain applications of students of B.A. 1st year. The Confederation should receive these applications latest by 31st August.
