Results of the 10th All India Madanlal Khandelwal Memorial Braille Essay Competition

We are pleased to inform the readers that result of 10th Madanlal Khandelwal Memorial Braille Essay Competition has been received from the judges and we give below these results for the information of our blind and sighted persons. This year we had received 29 Braille essays from our brothers and sisters. We realize that this is a very small number of essays received by us. We have been requesting our braille promoters to take part with full enthusiasm in the Braille essay competition but each year we fail to motivate them. We once again request our listeners and viewers to come forward next year in a greater number.

Late Sh. Madanlal Khandelwal was a great social worker. He spent his whole life for blind and partially sighted persons. He donated a sum of Rs. 20 lakh to our Organization in 2006 for Braille promotion and assisted the Confederation by all possible ways and means. It is our sacred duty to keep his memory alive in the minds of blind and partially sighted persons. We also need to promote Braille by all possible ways and means.
