One Year Advanced Computer Training Course

Computer Training for next batch shall start from 1st August, 2011 and selection of candidates for computer training shall be made after a written test on 31st July.  The test shall be held in the Confederation’s office located in Sector-5, Rohini, Delhi-110085.  Graduates shall be given preference.  Selected candidates shall get board, lodging and training facilities free of cost.  For further information, contact AICB office at 011-27054082.

One Year Training Course In Hindi Stenography

National Conference of the Blind

AICB proposes to hold one day National Conference in the auditorium of Vishwa Yuva Kendra, Chankyapuri, New Delhi on 14th October, 2011.  The theme of the Conference shall be “Changing What it Means to be Blind—Challenges and Opportunities”.  A sub-committee under the chairmanship of AICB President has been constituted to finalize the programme. 

AICB shall conduct 6-week short-term Intensive training course from 1st June at Braille Bhawan, Delhi under which young visually impaired women shall be given an opportunity to learn techniques of mobility, cooking, basic stitching as well as computer application and self-defence skills.  The present course is 6th in the series.  The best two trainees shall be given computers in appreciation of their performance.  Total cost of the course is borne by the Marga Schulze Foundation, Germany.  Concluding function shall be held on 15th July, 2011.
